Latest updates regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Following information received from the Government and further clarification from the Department for Education, Jubilee Day Nursery will be planning for more children to be able to rejoin the setting, should the Government not change their position.

The Government are now encouraging all eligible children of key workers to attend nursery and school settings, it is no longer necessary for parents of eligible children to keep them at home if they can. If you fall into the key worker category and require childcare earlier than the 1st of June, please let us know so we can begin arranging our staffing accordingly.

From 1st June, children of non-key workers will be able to re-join the setting should parents require. However, the Department of Education have set out protective guidelines which effect room sizes, minimising contact and mixing of groups and prioritises children of ages 3 to 4. This may limit our immediate availability and is subject to Government and Department for Education controls.

Your child’s attendance is only confirmed once you have received written confirmation following your request.

As always, we will continue to keep you updated and inform you of any changes.

We look forward to welcoming back the children and hope to see you all soon.
