In the early hours of Sunday morning, the farm at Jubilee Day Nursery welcomed a new arrival; a Dexter calf.
Yet to be named, the calf could be seen trying to keep cool in the heatwave as it carefully placed its front legs into a water trough.
Soon the calf will be introduced to the other animals on the farm, including the many goats and sheep.
It will also be one of a dozen new calves expected on the farm this year.
