About Us

About Us

With a strong focus on outdoor learning and many years of experience, we are an independent Nursery upholding best practice in childcare. At Jubilee, we ensure children have a happy and fulfilling time in our care. Located in the heart of the countryside in rural West Berkshire, children and staff develop strong bonds in a unique environment.

Opening Times & Sessions

We are open from 7.30am-6.00pm from Monday to Friday all year round (excluding one week at Christmas and Bank Holidays). We are able to offer a variety of sessions for babies and children from three months to five years of age.

Our Ethos

At Jubilee Day Nursery we are all about 'learning by doing' through real experiences. We give all children the time and space to explore, discover and use their imagination, both indoors and outdoors, in a language-rich environment with our caring and highly skilled practitioners.

Caring & Dedicated Team

We pride ourselves on the experience, care and dedication our team bring to Jubilee Day Nursery. We have a long-standing, highly experienced senior leadership team, an inspirational Early Years Teacher and incredible practitioners who bring experience, qualifications and creativity to children’s time here. Most importantly our team put your child at the centre of all that we do.

Inspiring & Innovative Learning

Every child has their own individual needs and talents and we celebrate those. Children’s curiosity drives their interest to understand the world and their place within it. We find innovative and inspiring ways to fuel that innate inquisitiveness.

A Childhood Adventure

With over 60 acres of farm, paddock, woodland, gardens and purposefully designed indoor areas - our environment is rich for adventure and discovery by children.

A Love of the Outdoors

Children are innately happy and at one with nature. We encourage and promote active learners keen to question, use their own ideas and achieve their goals. The outdoors is the perfect ‘classroom’ for children to do this and explore their environment.

Family Partnership

Children benefit most from early years education when parents or carers and nursery work together. We aim to support you as the children’s first and most important educators and involve you in your child’s time at Jubilee.

Wholesome Food

Ensuring children eat well and healthily from an early age is obviously a priority for you as parents. We provide good, wholesome food, freshly prepared on-site, and encourage children to try a wide variety of foods, celebrate food, have fun with it and eat together. Special diets are catered for and we educate children throughout their time here on the importance of regular hydration and water.
