Children in Orchards enjoy regular exercise and health awareness sessions with our practitioners, enjoy plenty of time at the woods and farm, mud kitchens, sensory garden and paddock.
Children’s independence increases as they help to prepare snacks, pour their own drinks and learn about the importance of healthy eating, hygiene and self-care. Our practitioners promote and encourage everyday independent skills such as hand washing, putting on shoes and getting dressed to help build confidence and develop important habits for life.
It’s often around this time that many children begin toilet training. Our practitioners work closely with you as a family to ensure your child transitions through this important stage of development in a relaxed manner when the time is right for your child. The facilities in this area are tailored to children's needs.
